About the Seobyeok

Historic House 

The building with single eave pavilion roof has 6 rooms facing the main gate, and 4 rooms on the side. Daemunchae, Anchae, Dongiksa and Seoiksa stand close to each other, and the most inner two rooms of Anchae is designed as Daecheong. The house is 104㎡(3700 sq.ft.), stands on the living rock stereobate, and uses Napdori Samnyangga(three cross-beam structure).

Confucian Scholar’s gentle and elegant nature dwells in the house. Relax in the cool breeze and take a nap in Daecheong or in Sarangbang with both front and back door open in summer.

Heat up the fireplace and make special memories on the warm Araetmok(the closest thus warmest spot on Ondol fireplace).

Constellation engraved rocks and trails near the house make the historical experience exceptional.
